Machine Operator
Pertemps Stoke are currently recruiting for a skilled Machine Operator to join our client’s team in the ST7 area. This is an excellent temp-to-perm position for someone who is hardworking, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities of this Machine Operator role:
1. Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
2. Loading, feeding, and monitoring machines throughout the shift
3. Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting any issues
4. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work area
5. Working as part of a supportive team to meet production targets
6. Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required for this Machine Operator role:
7. Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing/production environment
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with strong attention to detail
9. Good teamwork skills and a positive work ethic
10. Basic mechanical understanding is advantageous
11. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
Details of this Machine Operator role:
12. Hours of work: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30 | Friday 08:00–15:30
13. Hourly rate: £12.21ph – Increases when set on permanently
14. Location: ST7 Area
15. Duration: Temp to perm
