This permanent role is crucial in the Crisis Management Claims team, managing and resolving claims for our clients.
You will work closely with your manager, the practice leader, underwriting team, brokers, clients, and experts, taking ownership of critical claims issues.
This role is based in London, with a hybrid working model coming soon, combining remote and office work.

Responsibilities include:
* Managing Product Recall and Crisis Management Claims within authority limits, engaging proactively with stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
* Adhering to AXA XL’s Global Claims Handling Practices.
* Demonstrating AXA XL’s values and behaviors.
* Reserving claims appropriately within guidelines.
* Building relationships with underwriters, actuaries, and other departments.
* Timely handling of claims notifications and identifying/reporting trends to stakeholders.
* Providing excellent customer service to policyholders and brokers, maintaining client relationships.
* Managing loss adjusters, lawyers, and experts, ensuring cost-effective and performance-driven claims handling.
Reporting to the Claims Manager – Political Risk, Credit & Bond and Crisis Management.
Qualifications and skills:
* Experience in Liability Claims; Product Recall or Crisis Management experience is a plus.
* Knowledge of Lloyd’s standards, regulations, and subscription market (desirable).
* ECF experience (advantage).
* Highly organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
* Willingness to learn other product lines.
* Customer-focused, calm under pressure.
