Join to apply for the (Senior) Research Scientist in Quantum Communications role at Toshiba Europe Ltd
* Entry and Senior Level Positions Available
Toshiba Europe Ltd has been at the forefront of research in quantum technology, particularly quantum communications and quantum key distribution (QKD), for the past two decades. They have achieved breakthroughs such as record high quantum communication bit rates, seamless classical-quantum network integration, and new approaches for long-distance communication. Recently, Toshiba launched a new business unit to commercialise research outcomes, and Toshiba QKD systems are now deployed globally.
We invite applications for a Research Scientist (or Senior Research Scientist, depending on experience) at the Cambridge Research Laboratory, focusing on next-generation fibre-optic quantum communication systems with enhanced performance and new functionalities. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, leading the development of quantum communication technologies, designing and conducting frontier quantum experiments, and publishing research in leading journals and conferences. The role also involves supporting Toshiba’s QKD product development.
