1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Full time)

£14 - £15 per-hour (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 2 with additional needs, starting in September. This full-time role includes providing personalised learning support as well as personal care, ensuring the child can fully access the school day in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to create a nurturing setting that promotes both academic progress and personal development. The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and confident in delivering personal care as part of a wider support plan. If you are experienced in supporting children with SEN and are ready to make a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
2. Support pupils' social, emotional, and educational development.
3. Work collaboratively with staff to deliver personalised strategies and interventions.
Requirements:
4. Relevant qualifications or proven experience in a similar role.
5. A positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
6. Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
7. Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis
