EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant – Liverpool (L22)
Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Liverpool (L22), currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The position is Monday to Friday, 08:30am–15:30pm.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. You will provide individualised and small‑group support to SEND pupils, helping them remain engaged and progress toward their learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher and support staff
* Provide tailored one‑to‑one and small group support for SEND pupils
* Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment
* Encourage pupil engagement and help them achieve learning objectives
Requirements:
* EYFS and SEND experience (desirable)
* Patient, nurturing, and adaptable
* Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
* Recent experience working with children (within the past two years)
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to follow teacher guidance
* Reliable, punctual, and committed
