* Duration: 1-Week Cover (Starting Monday)
* Pay Rate: £250.00 - £290.00 per day (Depending on experience)
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Manager for a 1-week holiday cover assignment starting this coming Monday at our site in Taunton.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations on‑site, managing subcontractors, trades, and deliveries.
* Maintain strict health and safety compliance across the site, conducting daily inductions and tool‑box talks.
* Ensure works are progressing in line with the site programme and report updates back to the Contracts Manager.
* Conduct quality checks on trade works to ensure clients high standards are maintained.
* Address and resolve any immediate on‑site issues or logistical challenges swiftly.
Experience & Requirements
* Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and a Black CSCS Card.
* Proven track record as a Site Manager working with major developers.
* Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a sharp eye for health and safety compliance.
* Must be fully available for the entire week starting Monday morning.
