Key description of the role:
We are seeking a compassionate female Support Worker at our Haverhill supported living service to support 6 customers with learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism to achieve their goals and lead the life they choose.
As a Support Worker you will promote independence and encourage our customers to develop skills by supporting them to:
· Access the community and participate in activities and social events
· Do their shopping, prepare and cook meals and domestic tasks
· Get ready for the day, including personal care
· Manage their health and wellbeing
· Take part in hobbies and activities they enjoy
· Manage their paperwork and household bills
The Ideal Candidate:
You may have experience in a similar social care role, or may be looking for a new career. Your values, empathy, team working, flexibility and communication skills are just as important as experience, as our comprehensive training and support will help you to be confident in delivering high quality care and support.
