Trust HR Director – Location: Trust Office at Eastlea Community School, with travel across Newham Community Learning sites. Salary: SM Band C 504-603 – £93,225 to £106,245 (subject to equivalent experience and Trustee agreement). Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Newham Community Learning is seeking an experienced Trust HR Director to lead the strategic and operational HR function across the Trust. Reporting to the CEO, you will develop and implement the Trust’s people strategy, ensuring consistent HR processes, staff wellbeing, professional development, and compliance across all schools.
You’ll Have
* Degree and CIPD Level 7 or postgraduate HR qualification
* Minimum 5 years’ senior HR experience in a large, complex organisation
* Strong experience in employee relations, organisational change, and policy development
* Proven leadership of HR teams and ability to influence at executive level
* Up-to-date employment law knowledge and experience working with Trade Unions
Desirable
* Experience in education sector HR, managing HR systems, and complex statutory reporting
