The role will include undertaking a wide variety of ACOP L8 duties, such as: TMV servicing, CWST cleans & disinfections and calorifier blowdowns. The ideal candidate will have a proactive and positive approach to their work and a keenness to uphold company standards. Experience / Qualifications: - Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a Water Hygiene / Legionella company - Excellent ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines - Good literacy and numeracy skills - Comfortable using IT software and / or a PDA to complete reports - Preferably, candidates will have some experience undertaking legionella risk assessments, and will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing - It would be beneficial to have undertaken industry training courses - Flexible to travel as required The Role: - Undertaking a variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties across commercial, local authority, public sector and domestic sites - TMV servicing - CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections - Showerhead descales - Calorifier blowdowns - Flushing of little used outlets - Water sampling - Temperature monitoring - Conducting some ad-hoc legionella risk assessments - Producing regular service reports Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Legionella Technician, Environmental Service Technician, L8 Operative, Water Hygiene Technician.
