Job Description
Assist in the daily preparation of food for a variety of meal plans at various establishments across East Ayrshire to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties of this post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal offer of employment can be made. PVG records are constantly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position. The details are as follows:
* Post 1 - Dalrymple PS: 10 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, until 31 January 2026.
* Post 2 - Auchinleck ECC: 10 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 11:15 am - 1:15 pm, until 31 January 2026.
