Dietetic Support Worker
Permanent, 37 Hours per week
Band 3: £28,011 - £30,230
The borders weight management team is looking for a motivated and passionate dietetic support worker to join our team.
Following training and achievement of competencies, this post will assist the dietitians with assessments, treatment and monitoring of patients. Service delivery will involve face-to-face and virtual contact in both group and one to one support settings. The post holders are required to have good organisational skills, developed IT skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team. Our service is committed to the training of student dietitians and other health care professionals. The department encourages innovation and supports continuous professional development.
The post will be based at the Borders General Hospital. It may require travel throughout the borders in order to deliver service needs, a driving licence is essential.
