Printer Engineer
Location: Orton Longueville, Peterborough | Contract Type: Permanent | Working Pattern: Full Time | Shift Patterns: 2 Days 6am–6pm, 2 Nights 6pm–6am (4 on 4 off)
Key Responsibilities
* Operate, set, adjust, and maintain production machinery to produce high‑quality printed cans in line with ISO 9001 standards.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and uphold health and safety standards.
* Manage the supply of raw materials while inspecting them for defects or inconsistencies.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, actively supporting efforts to reduce downtime across production lines.
* Utilise line downtime effectively by assisting in problem areas, providing cross‑line support, and addressing issues to minimise line build‑ups.
What You Bring
* Level 3 City & Guilds/Apprenticeship, or equivalent, in Off‑Set Printing – desirable.
* Printing or decorating experience is a plus.
* Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
* A steadfast commitment to health and safety practices.
* A positive, "can‑do" attitude and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
