Electrical Project Manager – Commercial Project
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take full responsibility for the delivery of electrical works on a commercial construction project. This role involves managing the project from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities

Manage the electrical package from design coordination to commissioning and handover
*
Plan, programme, and oversee site activities to meet project milestones
*
Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
*
Manage electrical supervisors and site teams
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
*
Control budgets, variations, and cost reporting
*
Procure materials and subcontract packages
*
Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
*
Attend progress meetings and provide regular project reports
*
Oversee quality control, testing, commissioning, and snagging
Electrical Project Manager Requirements
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on commercial projects
*
Strong technical knowledge of commercial electrical installations
*
Excellent understanding of current regulations (BS 7671)
*
SMSTS (preferred)
*
ECS / CSCS card or relevant qualifications
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
*
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
