The Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results‑driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and play a pivotal role in Econsultancy’s next stage of growth.
This role requires a self‑starter mindset and offers the opportunity to grow your skills in brand building, community creation and marketing strategy – while communicating with some of the world’s leading brands and their chief marketers.
The role is hands‑on and delivery‑focused, with responsibility for implementing marketing campaigns, managing digital and social activity, coordinating content marketing programmes, and leading event production and promotion.
Key Objectives
* Define our high‑level Marketing strategy with key success metrics
* Build brand awareness and enhance our reputation as thought leaders in marketing and ecommerce capability building
* Bring the Econsultancy proposition (Learning for growth) to life through selected events.
* Deliver effective, data‑informed marketing campaigns that drive sales leads for our new business team.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign and Content Delivery
* Develop and adapt the annual content marketing calendar aligned with the content team’s thought leadership programme.
* Implement marketing campaigns across digital, social, and email channels to promote Econsultancy’s thought leadership and events.
* Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to produce high‑quality marketing materials and content assets.
* Manage day‑to‑day delivery of the content marketing calendar, ensuring a consistent stream of relevant content to the target audience.
* Repurpose and distribute existing content to maximise engagement and reach.
Digital and Social Media Marketing
* Manage HubSpot campaigns, automation workflows, and reporting dashboards to deliver and track marketing activity.
* Define our social media strategy and set clear metrics for success
* Execute and optimise paid social campaigns in collaboration with the digital media agency, reviewing performance data and making tactical adjustments.
* Grow Econsultancy’s organic social presence, specifically on LinkedIn, ensuring posts reflect our brand voice and deliver agreed objectives.
* Create copy and visuals for social posts using Canva, in line with brand guidelines.
Events: Capability Leaders Forum
* Deliver the marketing and logistics for our quarterly marketing capability leaders community event, including managing invites, registration journeys, and event promotion.
* Drive registration and attendance from target audience of leaders.
* Create and coordinate event assets (social and email copy, web pages, imagery) and ensure timely delivery.
* Handle logistics on the day of events and manage relationships with suppliers such as venues, caterers, and photographers.
* Manage post‑event follow‑up and analysis.
Website and Analytics
* Update and maintain the marketing areas of Econsultancy’s WordPress site with campaign and content updates.
* Track and report on campaign and content performance using HubSpot analytics and Google Analytics.
* Provide insights on engagement trends and campaign performance to inform future activity.
Collaboration and Reporting
* Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure all activity aligns with business priorities.
* Develop campaigns and contribute ideas for new ways to reach and engage target audiences.
* Provide regular performance updates and insights to internal stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
* Proven track record using HubSpot for marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and reporting.
* Experience managing social media and digital campaigns, ideally in a B2B or professional services environment.
* Skilled in using WordPress for content updates and Canva for creative asset production.
* Confident in managing suppliers and external agencies.
* Excellent copywriting and attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Data‑driven mindset with an interest in campaign measurement and optimisation.

The Package
* Basic salary of £45-50k, depending on experience
* Hybrid working – Tuesday and Wednesday at brand new offices in Waterloo
* 25 days holiday rising to 28 with every extra year of work
* Reports to: Content Director
