OUTSIDE IR35 – PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACT MANAGERS – Public procurement experience

Role Description
This is a contract role for a Procurement Manager – DEFENCE, requiring SC Clearance, based in the Greater Bristol Area with flexibility for occasional remote work. The Procurement Manager will oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and optimize supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities include strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
Qualifications
* Proven skills in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Vendor Management
* Experience in Contract Negotiation and Strategic Sourcing
* Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
* SC clearance is required due to the role's nature
* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
* Understanding of Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
* Familiarity with public and private sector procurement practices
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* Relevant certifications (CIPS or equivalent) are a plus
