Hello All,

Leo Recruits is working with a prestigious hotel in Surrey that is currently aiming to set the standards of excellence in the luxury hotel industry. Located in a stunning setting, the hotel employs some of the most skilled, professional, and dedicated people in the industry.

The successful candidate for the Assistant Night Manager position will be expected to:

* Report to the Night Manager and other Front of House Management
* Assist in the smooth running of the reception desk between 22:45 and 07:15


About the Assistant Night Manager Position

Location: Elmbridge district, Surrey

Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Rota: 5 days on, 2 days off

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent

Skills & Specification:

* Minimum of four years' hotel reception experience
* Knowledge of four-star hotel standards
* At least one year of experience in a similar role
* Friendly, welcoming, and customer-focused approach with high standards of customer service
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Professional presentation and etiquette
* Hospitality qualification or working towards it (desirable)
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and challenging situations
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including telephone manner
* Good administrative skills
* Strong team working skills
* Working knowledge of Opera PMS (advantageous)
* Commitment to continuous personal development


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient service to all guests, aligned with the hotel’s vision and values
* Handle guest requests and inquiries professionally, providing comprehensive information about hotel services
* Transfer calls to relevant departments or take messages in absence of staff
* Record and action requests efficiently and courteously
* Focus on achieving business targets
* Deputize for the Night Manager and serve as Duty Manager in their absence
* Complete and verify night audit procedures
* Assist with training and onboarding new staff
* Ensure the security of the hotel, guests, and staff during the night
