About the role: We are looking for a confident individual with a passion for making a difference is required to support the delivery of Esh Group’s social and economic value programmes. Location: Bowburn What we will expect from you: Demonstrate a genuine interest in Social Value and a passion for making a difference Research and support social value drivers of our clients in line with industry best practice Coordinate and deliver social and economic value programmes including volunteering, grants, work experience, site visits and school engagement Build and maintain positive relationships with multiple stakeholders (clients, customer team, community, education, site teams, supply chain and delivery partners) Manage outreach and local stakeholder engagement Planning, resourcing and scheduling The organisation of events Preparation of case studies, award submissions and content for KPIs and portal uploads Prepare internal and external communications Maintain a high standard of health and safety, safeguarding and GDPR compliance in all activities Partake in personal development through appraisals and to participate in any identified training or development opportunities Uphold Esh Group’s core values of; care, trust, integrity, respect and collaboration It is not possible for this document to totally encompass or define all tasks that may be required of the post holder. Qualifications: A full UK driving licence (essential) A clean criminal record (essential) Programme coordination experience An understanding of the education and community sector An understanding of social and economic value in procurement and/or Corporate Responsibility The confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders Good understanding of Microsoft Office based packages Experience of delivering presentations in a school environment (desirable) Qualification in relevant subject area (desirable) General understanding of the construction sector (desirable) Attributes & Skills: A ‘can do/will do’ attitude Outgoing and confident with the ability to tackle new challenges Interpersonal skills - confidence to tackle new challenges and meet new people Planning and organisational skills Attention to detail A good team player Polite and approachable at all times Appetite to learn and develop
