We are looking for a Logistics Manager to join our team in Bedworth & Milton Keynes. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the transport function, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective fulfilment of all customer requirements.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday

What you’ll do:
* You will plan and deliver all operations transport activities through your team of Transport Shift Manager, to ensure the required level of service is provided
* Effectively motivate, manage and inspire your team to develop and grow the skills of their team
* Drive Continuous Improvement within the operation
* Provide inspirational leadership to your team and work in partnership with M&S & our customers to ensure productivity, accuracy and cost targets are met and exceeded
Who you are:
* Demonstrable experience of working in a large, complex transport function, within temperature controlled/FMCG distribution
* A passion for encouraging teamwork, with an innovative approach to leadership
* CPC Licence
* An analytical mindset with a good understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics
* Relevant transport management systems knowledge
* Flexibility to work within a fast-paced 24/7 business
