The Multimedia Designer will be responsible for bringing Riviera’s brand to life through high quality visual design spanning digital, print and motion. This role blends creative concepting with hands on production – crafting visually compelling assets that elevate brand storytelling, improve engagement across channels, and support campaign performance.
As part of the Design Studio, you’ll collaborate closely with Designers, Writers, CRM, Social Media and Paid Media teams to ensure Riviera’s visual identity is consistent, modern, and inspiring across every customer touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Visual Design
* Design engaging marketing assets across digital and print channels, including web, email, social media, direct mail, display ads and OOH.
* Create visually compelling layouts that follow Riviera’s brand guidelines while pushing creativity and innovation.
* Work with the Lead Designer to maintain and evolve Riviera’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across platforms and formats.
* Develop design concepts and visual approaches for campaigns, hero assets and key brand moments.
Motion Graphics & Multimedia
* Produce motion graphics, simple animations, transitions and video overlays to support multimedia content.
* Collaborate with the Digital Content Creator to enhance video output with animated elements and branded embellishments.
* Adapt static creative into animated formats for social media, including reels, stories, YouTube and paid assets.
Content Creation & Asset Development
* Create supporting graphics, illustrations, infographics and iconography for use across campaigns and website content.
* Prepare imagery and graphics for print, ensuring high production quality and correct output specifications.
* Support creative development for product launches, campaign branding, and storytelling-led assets.
* Work closely with Copywriters, Content Executives and the Senior Content Manager to understand project briefs, audience needs and campaign goals.
* Partner with the Digital Content Creator to ensure synergy across design and multimedia outputs.
* Manage workflows efficiently to deliver high quality assets on time and in line with channel requirements.
Brand Governance & Best Practice
* Uphold brand standards across all design and multimedia assets.
* Help develop templates, toolkits and component libraries to improve efficiency and empower the wider marketing team.
* Ensure accessibility, readability and usability are considered in all creative outputs.
* Maintain version control and excellent file management within the Design Studio ecosystem.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience designing for digital and print within a marketing, creative or studio environment.
* Strong skills across Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro and After Effects.
* Ability to craft polished, customer centric designs with minimal direction.
* Understanding of layout, typographic hierarchy and design best practice.
* Highly organised, with strong prioritisation and file management discipline.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with the wider team.
* Familiarity with DAM systems, including the ability to organise, tag and retrieve assets efficiently, maintain consistent file structures, and work within established image and video libraries.
* Comfortable working alongside or supporting photography/video shoots.
* Experience in travel, lifestyle, hospitality or premium consumer sectors.
* Understanding of UI/UX principles and web optimised design.
* Skills in animation and simple motion graphics workflows.
* Experience working with brand guidelines and evolving visual identities.
Ways of Working
* At the heart of the Design Studio, working closely with Designers, Writers and Content Executives.
* Consults with the Lead Designer on art direction, brand evolution and creative quality.
* Works proactively with the Lead Designer to identify upcoming content and campaign needs.
* Contributes to team critiques, creative reviews and collaborative ideation sessions.
* Supports the culture of continuous improvement, experimentation and design-led storytelling.
We operate a hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week in the office.
