A welcoming Catholic primary school in Harborne is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive team as a full-time PPA Cover practitioner.
The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering pre-planned lessons to whole classes during teachers’ PPA time.
The successful candidate will:
Confidently deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across a range of subjects
Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils
Support the Catholic ethos and values of the school
Provide feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and learningThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
Proven experience working within KS1 and KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A flexible, proactive, and positive approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWe Offer:
