Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting in behalf of a leading Industrial Services company in Scunthorpe.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced, dynamic and strategic-minded Operations Manager to oversee the Industrial Services department in Scunthorpe.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in operations management within a heavy industrial cleaning environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and driving business excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the Industrial Services department based in Scunthorpe with potential additional requirements at other locations.
* Lead multiple small teams deployed across the site each with their own specific skill set and customer demand. This will include scheduling, recruitment and absence management.
* Prioritise compliance with health and safety regulations, company, and customer policies to ensure the safety of the team.
* Develop and mentor supervisors and operators alike, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and support business objectives.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in operations management, specifically within heavy industry and the industrial cleaning services sector.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams and build relationships with customers alike.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, best practices and WJA standards.
* Good knowledge of industrial vacuum vehicles, recyclers and industrial jetting equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
