SF Recruitment is supporting their long-standing client in finding an experienced Credit Risk professional to join their team on a permanent basis.
Location: Office based - NG11 (Hybrid option)
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 DOE
The role involves overseeing and managing credit and fraud risks within the organization. Responsibilities include identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to customer credit, financial products, and fraudulent activities to protect the company's financial health. The role also requires developing and implementing effective credit and fraud risk policies, frameworks, and procedures to manage exposure while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the order release process, ensuring compliance with internal policies, including fraud detection and financial risk assessments.
* Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to evaluate risks of high-value orders, complex contracts, or new customers.
* Assess and manage credit risk across various financial products and sectors.
* Review cash with order and credit applications, analyze information for potential fraud, and justify decisions with management.
* Set up new accounts on the system and communicate decisions to relevant departments.
* Record information accurately and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
* Manage existing accounts, perform regular reviews, and update financial information as needed.
* Maintain relationships with credit reference agencies and insurance providers.
* Assist with reporting and administrative tasks.
