We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at H&MV Engineering UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and proven leadership skills, with experience in managing projects from inception to completion. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site construction, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, providing guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
* Ensure compliance with all project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
* Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
* Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, safety standards, and adherence to project plans.
* Promote and enforce adherence to H&MV Engineering's Health and Safety policies and procedures on-site.
* Conduct regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure all personnel are equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards or risks, implementing corrective measures when required.
* Manage and coordinate on-site workforce, including both H&MV Engineering employees and subcontractors.
* Schedule and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and budget requirements.
* Monitor and control project costs, ensuring optimal use of materials, equipment, and labour.
* Act as the primary liaison between the project team and the client, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project requirements.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to address any client concerns or changes in project scope.
* Keep the client informed of project progress, milestones, and any potential issues affecting project delivery.
* Implement and maintain H&MV Engineering's quality control systems and procedures on-site.
* Conduct regular checks to verify that the work is being performed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
* Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with quality assurance processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:

* Experience in a similar supervisory role within the electrical engineering industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and associated works.
* A valid CSCS card and relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Electrical trade qualification, SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid).
* Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, CDM regulations, and construction legislation.
* Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
