Role Overview
In this role, you will:
Advise clients on all aspects of social housing, governance, and property law
Handle tenancy disputes, possession claims, and breaches of tenancy
Provide guidance on compliance, regulatory obligations, and sector best practices
Support clients with legal challenges including ASB issues, land disputes, and policy queries
Lead and mentor junior members of the team, helping to develop their skills and knowledge
Contribute to the ongoing development of the practice and client relationships
Represent clients in court and assist with regulator or ombudsman inquiries
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Solid experience in Social Housing litigation and governance
A strong understanding of regulatory and charity law within the sector
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, practical legal guidance
Experience in managing, mentoring, or developing team members
Commercial awareness and the ability to manage a profitable caseload
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of adapting to evolving legal requirements
