We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and experienced Nursery Practitioners qualified as a Level 2 or Level 3, who are keen to develop their career. Here at Jellytots Nursery we are dedicated in the support, development and promotion of high-quality care and education for the benefit of our children, families and community. Responsibilities
* Manage the daily activities of children in the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
* Plan and implement educational activities that promote the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child's individual needs.
* Drive initiatives that encourage creativity and exploration among children through play-based learning.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery space that reflects the values of our educational philosophy.
* Collaborate with other practitioners to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
Skills
* Proven experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting.
* Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and team members.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
* A passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with children and families.
