We are seeking an Engineering Manager (PAYE) with an Operator client in Aberdeen for a development project.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for all engineering design activities, including procurement elements throughout all project phases. They will ensure the FPSO design is delivered promptly, adhering to the BOD, SOR, and Scope of Work as specified in the FPSO contract.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engineering and oversee detailed design for the FPSO during execution, construction, hook-up, and commissioning phases.
2. Identify engineering needs and interfaces; allocate resources accordingly.
3. Manage facilities engineering across all project phases, including interface management, technical risks, and change management.
4. Coordinate activities across surface facilities, subsea, and flow assurance to ensure safe and effective design solutions.
5. Ensure all engineering design aspects align with business objectives and plans.
6. Contribute to technical decision notes and ensure integration across disciplines, considering impacts and communicating effectively.
7. Maintain knowledge of UKCS regulatory requirements.
8. Coordinate external engineering contractors.
9. Uphold operational standards, procedures, and engineering standards.
10. Approve engineering assurance teams and audits, implementing corrective measures as needed.
11. Approve management of change proposals, ensuring technical integrity and risk management throughout all project phases.
