Mller Yogurts and Desserts are recruiting for an Engineering Training Specialist at our Market Drayton site.
As a Training Specialist, you will work directly with Production Managers, CI Specialists, Engineering Experts, Operators, Technical Trainers, Maintenance Team members, and the wider OpEx Team to identify skill development needs using production loss and engineering data. Your role is to bridge engineering expertise and operator development, providing essential knowledge and skills for Asset Care, fostering ownership, and positively influencing KPIs.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Coach Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance tools, techniques, and systems to build capability across three sites.
* Support understanding of Total Asset Care principles and their importance in performance uplift.
* Maintain and update the Competency framework and training materials to support up-skilling.
* Collaborate with the central OpEx team to develop and implement Operator Asset Care and Preventative Maintenance training programs.
* Coach and mentor staff on Asset Care and Maintenance principles to ensure effective implementation.
* Deliver root cause analysis and breakdown analysis training to site teams.
* Make experience-based recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the Mller Production System.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Time served apprentice in relevant fields (e.g., Engineering, Operations).
* Engineering graduate or HND minimum.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Understanding of engineering and maintenance procedures, including fault finding.
* Planning and prioritizing skills.
* Effective communication across multiple stakeholders.
* Mentoring and coaching abilities.
