Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barista to be our first hire and partner with us to launch our new cafe venture. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and exceptional operational and customer service skills. As the lead Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
We are offering an opportunity to earn bonuses through a share of the profits and future shares in the business, subject to certain performance and growth metrics being met.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring that all items are presented attractively.
* Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
* Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
Qualifications
* Previous barista experience is essential for one hire; training will be provided for the second candidate and not required
* Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
* Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
* Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Sales and social media management skills are a bonus but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £14.25-£18.50 per hour
