Technical Advisor (Fire Engineer)
Salary - £60,000 to £90,000 DOE
Location - Hybrid. 1 day a week in central London with national travel required to client sites.

The role
You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor on high-risk and high-profile projects, including:
* High-rise modular residential schemes and complex Building Safety Cases
* Portfolio due diligence for multiple Higher-Risk Buildings
* New builds approaching Gateway 3, including BSA and BSR engagement
* Direct collaboration with the Building Safety Regulator to resolve issues pragmatically
About you
You’ll be technically strong and culturally aligned, with:
* A degree in Fire Engineering, Building Sciences or similar (chartered or working towards)
* ~5+ years’ fire engineering experience, including site exposure
* Consulting background with experience in due diligence and peer reviews
* Strong knowledge of fire safety, external wall systems and remediation
* A genuine commitment to the Building Safety Act and improving industry culture
* Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and mentoring others
