Theyre looking for a skilled, motivated, and forward-thinking Field Service Engineer to join the team and be part of their journey.
They are looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer to carry out servicing, thorough examinations, repairs and breakdown support across our customer base. This is a varied and mobile role where no two days are the same. Youll be working on a wide range of equipment, diagnosing problems, performing repairs and representing Welfaux in a professional, customer-focused way, all with the support of an expert service team allowing you to focus purely on your engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities As Field Service Engineer:
Service, maintain and repair a wide variety of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Respond to breakdowns and keep customer downtime to a minimum
Build strong relationships with customers through reliable, professional service
What Were Looking For:
Strong experience in field based mechanical and/or electrical engineering role, ideally within forklifts.
Thorough Examination (LOLER & PUWER) Certification highly desirable.
A self-motivated engineer with strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are beneficial but experience and attitude matter most.
Must hold a valid UK drivers licence.
