Rural Estate Manager Lake District – Cumbria A fantastic full-time custodian role has arisen for a family Estate with the retirement of the current Estate Manager in 2026. The Estate comprises of let grazing and fell, a large residential property, guest house, 4 holiday lets and a café business. The role will suit someone who has management experience and is practical, responsible and comfortable working for a family, whilst demonstrating integrity, discretion and trustworthiness. Part of a small team, you would be responsible for managing the Estate and report directly to the owners and the Director of the Family Office. Building relationships with local tradespeople, representing the owner on regular management, capital projects and holiday lets. Responsibilities include management of a high-tech house, swimming pool, spring water and emergency power systems, renewable energy equipment and working to budgets with reasonable IT skills.
