We are seeking an inspirational Ward Sister / Charge Nurse who will be a visible role model, leading by example and demonstrating a passion for delivering high standards of patient-centred care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and supportive team at the heart of respiratory excellence.
What we are looking for:
A registered nurse with a keen interest in respiratory medicine.
A proven leader, ready to take responsibility for the clinical and operational management of a busy unit.
Someone with a strong focus on staff wellbeing, who can support, guide, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
A professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with the wider MDT to ensure safe and effective care.

Personal Skills
* oLeadership skills with evidence of staff motivation and team building
* oExcellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
* oRecruitment and selection skills
* oInvolvement in standard setting and audit
Knowledge
* oKnowledge of current Trust wide and Department of Health initiatives
* oKnowledge of shared Governance
* oDemonstrates ability to influence and manage successfully
Qualifications
* oTeaching / mentorship qualification e.g. ENB 998 or equivalent
* oEvidence of continuing education
* oRelevant degree or working towards
* oAdvanced Life Support provider / other course of similar calibre
Experience
* oRegistered Nurse with proven experience at Band 6
* oEvidence of implementing significant changes or service developments that promote good practice
* oLeadership course
* oExperience of relevant specialities
* oExperience of working in an acute Hospital setting
