We're looking for a Senior CRO & Post-Click Growth Strategist to join our team and help us take how we approach conversion and growth to the next level.

This role is for someone who understands that CRO spans more than individual tests or interface changes. We take a broader view of optimisation, focusing on how the full post-click funnel contributes to profitable growth.

You’ll work across a portfolio of strong Shopify e-commerce brands, deeply analysing how they acquire, convert, and monetise traffic, and shaping clear experimentation and growth roadmaps that drive meaningful commercial impact.

This is a strategic role. You will not be designing or developing, but you will be responsible for the quality of thinking that informs everything we build and test.


What you’ll be responsible for

* CRO strategy & experimentation
o Lead CRO strategy across multiple Shopify e-commerce brands
o Conduct in-depth CRO audits across funnels, PDPs, collection pages, landing pages, offers, pricing, bundles, and subscriptions
o Develop clear, prioritised experimentation roadmaps based on commercial impact, traffic levels, and risk vs reward
o Own test ideation, hypothesis creation, and experiment design
o Review test results and translate learnings into clear next steps
* Profit-first optimisation
o Treat CRO as profit optimisation, not just conversion rate improvement
o Identify opportunities to increase AOV, improve revenue per visitor, improve website efficiency, and reduce friction impacting paid media performance
o Balance experimentation with commercial reality rather than vanity metrics
* Growth & funnel thinking
o Analyse full e-commerce funnels including traffic sources, audience intent, paid media performance, and entry points
o Identify when CRO testing is appropriate vs when broader growth initiatives are needed
o Propose higher-impact initiatives such as quiz funnels, dedicated landing pages, offer restructuring, and funnel re‑routing strategies
* Data & behavioural analysis
o Analyse behavioural data using heatmaps, session recordings, scroll depth and interaction data
o Use GA4 to analyse funnel drop‑offs, understand traffic quality and intent, and support hypothesis creation
o Combine quantitative and qualitative insights to guide decision‑making
* Execution leadership
o Translate strategy into clear, actionable briefs for design and development teams
o Work closely with account managers to plan monthly priorities and balance reactive vs proactive work
o Ensure experiments are scoped appropriately against available hours
o Review and QA experiments before launch
o Act as a subject-matter expert in CRO and post‑click growth
o Confidently explain rationale, trade‑offs, and learnings to clients
o Help clients understand prioritisation decisions
o Set expectations around experimentation, risk, and learning


What good looks like in this role

* Fully remote, UK-based preferred, European candidates welcome
* Core hours flexible between 8am–5pm UK time
