Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you’ll be making a real difference in people’s lives by providing high-quality care at home. Your duties will include:
* Providing personal care – helping with washing, dressing & continence care
* Supporting with meal preparation and medication
* Companionship – helping clients stay socially engaged
* Assisting with light housework and shopping
* Supporting clients with safe moving and handling
Working Hours
Full flexibility is essential. Shifts will include long days and split shifts (7:30 am – 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm).
Who We’re Looking For
* You must have a valid UK driving licence & access to your own car (this is essential).
* You must live locally in or near Preston & know the surrounding community well.
* Strong previous experience in domiciliary care is required.
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential).
A compassionate, reliable, and positive approach to care is essential.
