Inclusion IQ is supporting our client, a leading digital product consultancy located in Belfast. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior .NET Developer who excels in a fast paced, multi-project environment and possesses the commercial ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a high performing, small engineering team dedicated to delivering bespoke software for a diverse portfolio to NI & UK clients. This position offers a unique balance of technical leadership, hands on development, and significant design influence.
1. You will have full autonomy to do your job. Roughly 30% of your time will be dedicated to brainstorming and teasing out ideas, ensuring they build the right solution, not just the easiest one.
2. Be a confident communicator, comfortable having direct tech conversations with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
3. Ensure you provide informal mentoring and guidance to the wider team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high standards.
4. Responsible for applying software engineering principles and maintaining high standards of code quality (SOLID, TDD, Clean Architecture)
Technical Stack
5. Extensive experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and ASP.NET Core Web APIs. Backend .Net
6. Frontend: Strong commercial proficiency in React.
7. Data Architecture: Proven experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core (EF Core).
8. Practical knowledge of Azure cloud services and deployment pipelines.
Essential Criteria
9. Experience: 5–8 years of commercial development experience, with a significant focus on the .NET ecosystem and React frontend.
10. Leadership: A proven track record of leading technical projects from discovery to deployment and a desire to provide input and guidance to junior peers.
11. Ideally someone with a great attitude who is open to continuous development and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
12. Confident in teasing out ideas and brainstorming solutions both internally and with external stakeholders.
