We seek a well-qualified and motivated individual eager to utilize their talents and enthusiasm as part of a dedicated and professional team. The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to their role and to the life of the School.
The candidate should be willing to work in a small school environment, developing their skills in working with young children and assisting in areas of school and curricular development at the nursery and early years stage.
The working hours, during term time only, are approximately as follows:
Monday: 7.30am – 1.30pm
Tuesday: 9.45am – 1.00pm
Wednesday: 7.30am – 1.30pm
Thursday: 9.45am – 1.45pm
Friday: 9.45am – 12.45pm
Additional occasional opportunities may be available to support our before and after-school care facilities.
The pay rate is currently £14.33 per hour, paid monthly in arrears for 39 weeks of the year. An additional five weeks of holiday pay is also provided at the same rate, totaling approximately £14,030 annually. All holidays must be taken during the school holiday periods.
The candidate should hold a Level 3 SVQ qualification or equivalent. The appointment is subject to a PVG check with Disclosure Scotland and SSSC.
