JOB DESCRIPTION: SEMH Tutor

Job Duties:
* Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to meet individual educational requirements
* Develop and implement personalised learning strategies to promote academic and personal development
* Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
* Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) regulations
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a teaching role, preferably working with SEMH students
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
