Develops and negotiates approval for the project charter and scope, assist in financial analysis, ensures completion of technical and detailed product specifications, manages project creep and ensures complete and accurate project release. Manages project activities across functional groups, Centres and organizations. Job role is independently accountable for a large staff or support arm of the organization or a single profit/loss or revenue centre, major product line, or support function. Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering or other related technical field with a minimum of 12 years of oil and gas industry experience, of which 6-11 years is in project management.
