Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Engineer to join our team. As a Diesel Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines.
Fully product training will be provided as Diesel Engineers are responsible for ensuring performance and availability for the diesel engines in the rail industry.
The role requires the ability to undertake diagnostic work, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and delivering added value services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines and/or propulsion systems.
* Qualified to NVQ3 as a minimum, with demonstrable experience of fault diagnostics and remote diagnostics and conditioning.
* Ability to work in a customer-facing environment, providing exceptional customer service.
* Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
