SEN Teacher – Complex Needs Specialist
Location: East London
Contract Type: Permanent Full-Time role

Responsibilities:
Student Assessments: Evaluate students' abilities, strengths, and challenges to determine appropriate support strategies.
Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver tailored educational programs that accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
Individual and Group Support: Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to address specific learning requirements.
Progress Monitoring: Continuously assess and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
Collaboration: Work with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create supportive learning environments.
Resource Development: Create and adapt teaching materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and manage classroom resources effectively.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
Experience: Proven experience working with students with complex needs, including those with severe or profound learning difficulties, autism, or multiple disabilities.
Skills: Ability to design and implement individualised education plans (IEPs), excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to teaching.
