About the Role The Trainee Transport Operator will support the coordination of daily container transport operations and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure efficient deliveries. Responsibilities Support the coordination of daily container transport operations Liaise with drivers, ports, and customers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries Monitor vehicle movements and respond to operational changes or delays Input and manage data using transport management systems Assist with compliance and ensure accurate documentation Work closely with the planning team to support route and schedule optimisation Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics or transport (container experience is a plus) Required Skills Keen interest in a career in transport and logistics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn Preferred Skills Experience in container transport is a plus Pay range and compensation package C£30,000 p/a dependent on experience What’s on Offer: Full training and ongoing support Career development and progression opportunities Friendly and supportive working environment Equal Opportunity Statement Our client is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. ```
