Employment Type: Full Time - 40 hours, 5 days a week
Salary: £30,000
Shift Patterns: Mon – Fri / Weekends / Bank Holidays / Days

Job Description:
Meadow Bay Villages are actively seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to assist overseeing and managing their leisure offerings on site.
Our extensive aquatic offering includes the largest aqua park in Northamptonshire with a water sports offering, a state-of-the-art indoor swimming pool complete with a kids’ area and exciting water slides, an outdoor splash park, and a collection of premium hot tubs for relaxation and luxury.
We’re looking for enthusiastic and safety-focused individuals to join our team with a passion for water sports, to enhance the delivery of memorable experience for all visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
\t
* Must meet the qualification standard (Please see below).
\t
* Be a team player with a willingness to learn.
\t
* Have the desire to progress into a management role with experience in a leisure background (ideally in an outdoor aqua park or pool.) - Or have at least a years management experience.
\t
* Applicants must be 18+ (accommodation can be provided)
Job Specification:
\t
* Work as part of the team to set up the site at the start of each session and close down post-sessions at the end of the day.
\t
* Providing excellent customer service, ensuring each visitor has a successful, rewarding and enjoyable experience.
\t
* Welcoming customers and staff to the facility.
\t
* Monitoring the water ensures all water users are safe and follow the safety procedures/rules.
\t
* Making sure the site follows our logged NOP & EAP procedures.
\t
* Recording and upkeep of site maintenance.
\t
* Ensuring all visitors are educated in, and adhere to the facilities etiquette and rules.
\t
* Respond to those needing assistance; vigilantly monitor the participants to spot signs of struggle and signals for help/assistance.
\t
* Leading rescues & training sessions as and where required.
\t
* Carrying out daily/weekly safety checks on equipment and facilities to ensure all areas and equipment are fit for use and meet operational standards.

Desirable Qualifications – Training can be provided
\t
* RLSS Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ, OWL or NVBLQ) - Essential
\t
* AED / First Aid Certificate
\t
* Pool Plant Operator (RLSS or STA)
\t
* Paddle Sport Instructor
\t
* RLSS TA (OWL or NPLQ)
