The Role:
The successful candidate must be a highly organised individual with a passion for logistics. As the Transport Administrator, you will play a vital role in their supply chain operations and in maintaining efficient customer communication. The ideal candidate will be a logistics professional with strong administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data entry and management of transport jobs in our internal systems.
* Coordination and reporting of Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
* Proactive customer communication to resolve operational issues and track shipments to completion.
* Managing customer complaints and seeing them through to resolution.
* Contributing to special customer-focused projects.
* Performing essential daily administration tasks to support the transport office.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative support or customer service role.
* Preference will be given to applicants who have administrative experience in FMCG, Transport or logistics
* Excellent organisational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
* A strong customer service focus and a tactful, understanding approach.
* A hardworking, reliable, and flexible individual with a positive outlook.
* Proficiency in IT systems, with a solid command of Microsoft applications.
