Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £31,930 and £36,878 per annum plus a market supplement for the right candidate DOE and Qualifications, 53 days annual leave inc. About The Role
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Motorsport to join our Motorsport department at The Bedford College Group.
As a Lecturer, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
* Teaching & Learning Delivery – Plan, deliver, assess, and verify a range of programmes while tailoring teaching to meet individual student needs and awarding body standards
* Student Support & Progress – Guide and monitor students to help them achieve their potential, maintain accurate records, and ensure behaviour aligns with the Student Code of Conduct.
* Curriculum & Course Development – Contribute to curriculum innovation, develop new courses, and lead curriculum planning if appropriately qualified.
* Professional Engagement – Participate in marketing, open days, interviews, and team meetings, while supporting colleagues and mentoring new staff where applicable.
* Compliance & Continuous Improvement – Uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety standards, while engaging in ongoing training and quality assurance processes.
About You
* Industry & Teaching Expertise – Brings experience in the Motorsport industry and a strong foundation in engineering education, with the ability to teach across varied pathways.
* Inclusive & Adaptive Education – Skilled in supporting diverse learners, using multimedia tools, and fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment that promotes equality and diversity.
