Job Description
3. A sound knowledge of the SAR rules is required.
4. Processing invoices both sales and purchase
5. Checking completion statements/posting and paying them
6. Process receipts, payments and transfers for client accounts
7. Daily preparation and processing of payments/authorisation checks.
8. Maintain accurate financial records using Proclaim and Excel
9. Preparing all client to office daily transfers, and checking all entries.
10. Posting of money received and paid in accordance with SAR.
11. Client bank reconciliations
12. Reviewing residual balances quarterly.
13. Closing accounts and dealing with write offs.
14. Dealing with queries
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
15. Previous experience in a similar role within professional services.
16. Solid understanding of SRA accounts rules and financial compliance.
17. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
18. Strong numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail.
19. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
20. Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
