English Teacher Leicestershire based secondary school Full-time & long-term position To start after Easter until the end of the academic year (July) Teaching English to KS3 & KS4 Hays Education are representing a Leicestershire based secondary school that are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic KS3/KS4 English Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English across KS3 and KS4. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and be able to deliver engaging and challenging lessons. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students. Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents. Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the English curriculum. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and assessment results. You will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff. Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
