We accomplish this by selling beautifully designed need-based products for those with diabetes. Our flagship product, medical patches, protects diabetes devices from coming off. Lost devices cause distress, financial loss, and preventable trips to the hospital. As a small startup things are fast-paced and ever-changing, but we all work together as a team to achieve our goals. Role responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and support our small team across fulfilment, pick & pack, production, and dispatch functions.
* Continuously optimize and refine processes and maintain a deep understanding of the moving parts at play.
* Ensure high levels of order accuracy, minimal packing errors, and customer satisfaction.
* Continuously improve speed and quality of fulfilment without compromising accuracy.
* Assign daily tasks and ensure team members are clear on priorities, targets, and the wider picture.
* Delegate tasks appropriately, matching workloads to skills and development needs. - Identify inefficiencies across warehouse workflows and implement lean operational practices.
* Standardise SOPs and continuously review and refine them to support scaling.
* Track key operational metrics and create weekly and monthly performance reports. - Demonstrate emotional intelligence and adapt your leadership style to individuals' needs.
* Train new and existing staff on operational procedures, health and safety, and other applicable procedures. - Identify development needs and support individual growth through coaching and feedback with the CEO.
* Be mindful of group dynamics and pro-actively take steps to ensure a positive and productive environment.
* Conduct regular one-to-ones, provide constructive feedback, and set clear objectives.
* Manage performance issues daily, fairly, and supportively. Address interpersonal issues calmly and professionally to maintain a healthy working environment.
* Encourage a strong team ethic and personal accountability. Set clear individual and team KPIs aligned with business objectives.
* Work with the marketing team to forecast stock and labor demand and ensure operational readiness for demand.
* Enforce safe working practices, correct use of equipment, and cleanliness standards.
* Communicate clearly about delays, operational constraints, or insights from the warehouse floor.
* Think critically about decisions of all kinds so as to ensure "right first time" approach and ask for advice / soundboard / sanity check whenever helpful
* Own the onboarding and training experience for new hires to ensure a smooth start. - Any other responsibilities that may reasonably be required as part of the role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
