Overview

Meetings and Events Co-Ordinator - Warrington - Full Time - Warrington

Salary: £12.60 per hour. Shift hours: Full Time.

Monday-Friday (occasional evenings & weekends) | 37.5 hours a week over 5 days, between 8am-6pm. £12.60 per hour.

We’re recruiting for a driven Meeting & Events Co-ordinator to provide first-class service for the Engine Rooms at Birchwood Park on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. The Engine Rooms offers a unique and inviting place to meet and work, grab a bite to eat, and relax with friends, alongside a food hall with freshly made street food, pizza, salads, and Starbucks coffee.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team.

Experience is key for this role. You will be proficient in using MS and CRM programs, confident in interacting with clients via phone, email and in person, capable of handling multiple workloads under pressure, with strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication, and skilled in establishing and nurturing strong relationships.


Duties

* Maximise meeting room and delegate revenue through effective relationship building, sales conversion and best-in-class customer service.
* Manage and convert reactive sales activities including responding to telephone, desk, and email enquiries as per brand standards and turnaround times.
* Develop client relationships through knowledgeable and effective enquiry handling and team communication.
* Understand and match / exceed client needs and provide timely and tailored event packages to drive conversion and revenue, including up-selling F&B and ancillary services.
* Conduct venue show-rounds and provide professional customer service to aid swift conversion.
* Actively seek client feedback post-event to facilitate future repeat sales.
* Compile accurate function sheets, distribute weekly and discuss with operations team, providing updates to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and drive repeat sales.
* Deliver exceptional customer service in line with the ‘Expect More’ philosophy and strive to exceed customer expectations at every touchpoint.
* Cover the reception area when necessary.
* Conduct general administrative duties as required to deliver the business objectives and support the Sales & Events Manager.

We’re looking for people who are confident and full of personality who get excited about driving sales. With previous experience in a similar role within the meetings, events and hospitality sector you will understand what it takes to deliver celebrity service and to exceed expectations to ensure customers get the most from their experience with us.
