Job Title:HGV Class 2 Trade Waste Driver
Location: Birmingham, Landor Street B8
Pay: £14.85 per hour (+ overtime at £18.56/hour)
Hours: 3:00 AM 11:00 AM, Monday to Friday (1 hour paid break)
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a busy waste and recycling company in Birmingham. This role involves early morning shifts with competitive pay and overtime opportunities. You will be an essential part of the team, helping to maintain commercial waste services for local businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a Class 2 (Category C) HGV to collect trade waste efficiently and safely
* Use bin-lifting equipment and follow designated routes
* Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and waste handling regulations
* Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy
* Report any issues, delays, or incidents promptly to management
What Were Looking For:
1. Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
2. Previous experience in waste collection or similar driving roles preferred
