Turn IT On is currently seeking an IT Manager who is motivated and enthusiastic about technology. The ideal candidate should have a natural flair for technology, a strong willingness to learn, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our customers.
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, installation, maintenance, availability, and security of the curriculum and administrative ICT network, including hardware and software infrastructure of the school’s ICT network. You will collaborate with the Senior Management team to develop the school’s IT infrastructure and plan projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring the ICT network is optimized for effective teaching and learning while maintaining security and stability.
Your commitment to delivering turn IT on support services that reflect our company values is essential. You will be responsible for fostering effective communication between your school and TIO, staying informed about our services and solutions, and managing customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities Include
1. Managing the school’s network infrastructure and ICT applications.
2. Monitoring and maintaining key systems including switches, servers, Microsoft 365, and backups.
3. Providing technical advice, training, and support to staff.
4. Managing daily IT operations and addressing requests efficiently.
5. Line managing ICT support staff.
6. Providing 2nd/3rd line support.
7. Enforcing and monitoring policies.
8. Training internal staff.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
* At least 2-3 years of experience as an IT Manager/Network Manager/Senior ICT Consultant within a school setting.
* Strong understanding of school environment requirements.
* Experience upgrading school IT networks.
* Self-motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team, with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
